In November 2024, the DigiDecom conference hosted lots of experts from nuclear decommissioning and was, as usual, dedicated to digitalization of nuclear decommissioning activities. DORADO project was presented there along with other EURATOM R&D projects focusing digitalization of nuclear decommisionning.
Our project coordinator, Antti Räty from VTT, presented the overal project goals, research background, main topics of project's work packages and technologies that will be used and demonstrated on a real-world scenarios for nuclear decommissioning. The second presentation was provided by Mr. Andre Joly, a co-founder of the SPIX Industries company providing voice recognition technologies. The presentation explained in a very interesting way how the voice recognition technology works and how it possibly could be adopted to nuclear decommissioning. Also, an live demo of the technology was provided.
